Frequently Asked Questions

Rumble Over the Redwoods will take place at California Redwood Coast-Humboldt County Airport (ACV)

on August 9 - 10, 2025. Updated information will be available soon. Stay tuned! 

What time does the show start?

Gates open at 9:00 a.m. Flying starts at 12:00 p.m. and will go until 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Can you walk around the planes?

Yes, we will have static displays and other interactive experiences for you to enjoy on site. 

Can you purchase tickets at the gate?

Yes, tickets will be available for $40 at the gate. 

How much is parking?

Parking is FREE at Rumble Over the Redwoods.

Am I allowed to bring chairs for General Admission?

We encourage everyone to bring chairs and/or blankets to enjoy the show. Please see the prohibited items list for what will not be allowed in. 

Are VIP Tickets Available?

Yes, premium ticket options are available for purchase. Please visit our tickets page for current pricing and availability.

Do I need to buy my children tickets?

General Admission tickets for ages 12 and under are FREE. Premium venue areas have a reduced price for youth admission. Please check our tickets page for additional information and current ticket prices.

Is the show the same both days?

Yes, the show will be the same both Saturday and Sunday, minus any last minute changes. 

Will there be food?

Yes, we will have food and drinks available for purchase on site. We want to make sure everyone stays happy, healthy, and hydrated! 

Are rides available?

Attendees will be able to purchase a ride with Precision Exotics on site. For more information, visit their website at www.precisionexotics.com

Can I fly in to the air show?

Unfortunately, ramp space at ACV will be consumed by air show activity.

We recommend flying into EKA and driving to the show. 

What if I can't find my EventSprout tickets?

The easiest way to get your tickets is to find your email order confirmation. Tickets are attached as a PDF file you can print. If you can’t find them, have trouble printing, or have any other questions, visit Eventsprout Zendesk here.

Are refunds available?

​All attendees will have the opportunity to add ticket insurance at the time of purchase. There will be no refunds for this event unless you opt into the insurance and file a claim with FanShield.

Prohibited Items:

The following items are prohibited at Rumble Over the Redwoods:

 

- Smoking or Vaping

- No outside alcohol

- No weapons of any kind

- No drones

- No pets

- No coolers

- No 2-way AviRadios

Will there be disabled parking access to the show?

​Yes, disable parking is available for guests with disabilities. We recommend arriving early to give yourself a little extra time to get to the seating areas.

Will the air show be accessible to persons with disabilities?

Our air show is ADA compliant to the greatest extent possible. We recommend for guests with disabilities to give themselves extra time upon arrival.

Some of the accommodations offered include disabled parking and ADA accessible portable restrooms. The event space allows motorized scooters, wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility devices. The event space is large, so you may want to plan for breaks throughout the day and assistance as needed.

What public transportation options are there for the airshow?

For bus schedules, please visit the Humboldt Transit Authority website (https://hta.org/). Air show tickets are not valid as a form of payment for the bus. 

Can I bring a motorized scooter, wheelchair or other mobility device?

Motorized scooters, wheelchairs and other mobility devices used by persons with disabilities are allowed on air show grounds; personal golf carts are not allowed. Please be aware that the crowds may be heavy and maneuvering may be difficult, and that there is no place at the show to plug in and “recharge.”

Can I bring my pet?

Pets and emotional support animals are NOT allowed onto the air show area and should NOT be left in vehicles. Please leave your pet(s) at home. Service animals that meet the Americas with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines are welcome.
